Kalamazoo is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Kalamazoo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Came in with my husband tonight and had the worst customer service experience ever. I felt as if I was annoying the man because he kept talking to the person in front of me and looked at me like he was upset I was interrupting his conversation. Half the stuff they had out looked old or had some debris from the other food or what could have been dirt in it. Lastly if you are out of an item and do not plan to re stock it or do not have the means to re stock it then maybe put a sign out. My recommendation is to go down to the one on whites road and westnedge. The staff at that location is kind, respectful, and the food always looks fresh. I would prefer to spend my money there the here.

Very disappointed in this visit. I ordered a salad bowl. Can’t have rice, corn or beans. I’ve ordered this before many times. Today I got a slim lunch for $16! I ordered extra protein which was the serving size of one. Asked for a bit more. He gave it to me but still didn’t equal two servings. They were out of guacamole which is what I always get and helps fill me up in place of rice, beans and corn. I asked the gentlemen if they are normally out and he says “yes it’s a popular item” Never had a problem at this location any other time and I always get a full sized amount. Not today. In this picture I haven’t even taken a bite out. You can see how NOT full it is. Second pic is all pushed to one side. This is stupid.

Staff are super nice and friendly. Been going to this location for a while, seems like new management isn’t doing a great job at managing. Last couple times we’ve gone in, chicken, beans, rice etc are all out. 3 hours before closing too, which is wild. Seems like staff are frustrated that management is preventing them from doing their job. Say they would love to serve us, but are not allowed to prepare more food. Seems kinda backwards to me

We were very impressed by the customer service. We had 3 different employees help us out (including Steve, and I can’t remember the other names!), and each were engaging and made the process fun. We were greeted quickly with enthusiasm when we walked in, and we left feeling taken care of. Compared to other food establishments in the area, this was really just a breath of fresh air!

Halfway through the Shrimp bowl, I bit down on a pebble/rock. With the naked eye, looked like a black bean, however, when you look really close, u can clearly see, its a pebble/rock. Thank goodness, I'm not a hard chewer, I would have definitely chipped a tooth! Too bad this happen, as the Shrimp bowel had a wonderful flavor, but after discovering the pebble/rock, I threw the entire bowel out!!!!
